I'd like to wish all of you - my blogger buddies - a happy and safe Fourth of July. Please stay safe, don't burn yourselves setting off those pyrotechnics, and don't drink too much. Above all, don't forget the intentions and expectations our founding fathers had for our country when they ratified the Declaration of Independence two hundred thirty-two years ago. Too many of us don't know, or simply don't care to know, about the amazing historical events that transpired and gave birth to our country.
Happy Fourth!!!

Never buy fireworks and not likely to drink too much (unless it's Diet Coke)
How does Critter like the fireworks?? Elle doesn't mind but poor old Sophie (who's almost completly deaf) just hates them and sits in the closet.
we live in a 'college' rental neighborhood - the few left behind for the summer are sure celebrating something the past few days.

i think you get the picture.
i'm sure glad most of the college kids go home [ or somewhere other than staying here ] for the summer.
Kimberly-
You're most welcome. I just want to figure out what to send Melissa BEFORE I send it. Something that will let her know we really are thinking of her.
Auntie A-
The Critter seems to be doing O.K. despite the fact that everything is exploding around us. Lets hope it stays that way since he is far more chicken than dog. LOL!
Jim-
Hopefully things will quiet down for your neighborhood. I know college kids can be difficult and very rowdy, so lets hope school starts soon!
