Pentecost

It's a good day to return, don't you think?

"When the time for Pentecost was fulfilled, they were all in one place together. And suddenly there came from the sky a noise like a strong driving wind, and it filled the entire house in which they were. Then there appeared to them tongues as of fire, which parted and came to rest on each one of them. And they were all filled with the holy Spirit and began to speak in different tongues, as the Spirit enabled them to proclaim."

Happy birthday, Church! And to all of you, my blogger pals, it's time for us to reconnect and pick up from where we left off.

Check out this video. This is simply amazing!

Did any of you know about this?

Welcome back! Was wondering if you had totally jumped ship in favor of facebook.
I left my comment on this video on facebook. Is the Pantheon actually a church, and is this done in the middle of a Mass or is it just a presentation for entertainment outside of Mass? It's a beautiful thing, especially since you can't see where the petals are coming from, but hardly appropriate during Mass.

Shirley- What was once a pagan temple is now known as Santa Maria Rotunda. According to Wikipedia, it's been in the Church's hands since the seventh century and has been dedicated to St. Mary and the Martyrs. I'm not sure of the precise moment in which the flower pedals begin to fall, since this is the first time I've heard of this.

Thank! It's nice to be back:0)
